Our Family Story
Established in 2019,
Dos Banderas (which translates to “two flags”) Property Maintenance is a family-owned and operated business specializing in indoor/outdoor property maintenance and landscape design and installation. We are bilingual and bicultural, and customer experience is our priority.
Jose and Lisa met in 2005 while she was studying abroad in Costa Rica. In 2008, Jose made the move to the United States, where he became a U.S. citizen and worked in industrial maintenance for more than a decade. Jose is knowledgeable about preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, OSHA safety standards, and more. He loves to problem-solve and help homeowners better understand their property and how to keep everything in good working order.
Lisa was born and raised in southwest lower Michigan. Initially, her career path started in education. After receiving her master’s, she transitioned into Human Resources and was internationally certified by SHRM. Lisa performs the administrative duties, as she is detail-oriented, outgoing, and customer-centric.
